Back in San Vanelona with all new tricks and features. It is set after the first skate. and the city has changed A LOT! there is security everywhere this time, which is fun addition as they are not as bad as the security off skate.
Some new features include:
-A mobile phone, this can be used for a number of things, from hiring someone to empty a swimming pool you want to skate, to calling pro's for a game of S.K.A.T.E
-Thrashers Hall of Meat, a fantastic and hilarious online game where up to six players throw themselves off high objects to get the most damage, the winner is the player who caused the most damage to himself.
- Create-a-spot allows you now to create your own spots which you can upload to the skates online community and play with against other players. You spot has its own leader board of players high scores and it can get quite competitive.
-The ability to get off your board!!! Skate. was very annoying when you were stuck on objects or could not get up a curb but now you can just hop off your board and run around!
-The entire map is unlocked from the very start of the game unlike its predecessor in which you had to play the game to unlock it
-You can now create custom board and clothing which is a great feature.
- new moves which include handplants on the coping of bowls and ramps, boneless's, beanplants, fastplants, no complys
hippy jumps, grind grabs and finger flips!!!

Overall skate 2 is a much better game than its predecessor and i would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Skate.
One downside of skate 2 is that the revert glitch that annoyed people online on skate. is still in the game. few people mastered it but it caused great annoyance and massive advantage to online play.
I rate it 4.5 out of 5 !!
